What personal data this site collects and why it is collected

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site and the data in the forms is collected as shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

You have the right to request a copy of all information that has been stored on this website, the right to make any correction to such information, or for that information to be deleted. You can request this via the contact me form. Once such a request has been made you will receive an email asking you to confirm that you have indeed asked for this action to be taken. Following his you will receive via email the information requested or confirmation that it has been deleted from the site.

Security

The security and privacy of your personal information is of upmost importance to me, however, despite taking every precaution to safeguard your data, I can not guarantee its absolute security. I will always act in accordance with the relevant UK and European legislation.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

I do not share your information with any person or company outside of justruthcoaching without your priory permission and consent. However, you have the right of portability, that is, where the data is transferred to another organisation, and the right to manage how any information is processed.

How long your data is retained

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on this website (if any), the personal information provided will be stored in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that I erase any personal data is held about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Coaching notes and other significant data are stored securely in a locked cabinet. Information that is stored electronically is password protected.

I may use your name and email address to contact you with newsletters that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving such communications at any time by contacting me via email or through my website.

In accordance with GDPR regulations, you will be notified of any data breach within 72 hours of it becoming known.

In certain limited circumstances I may be legally required to share your personal data, such as where we are involved in legal proceedings, in compliance with a court order or government request with the legal authority to comply me to do so.
